The Penny Ferry (Pty) Ltd was established in 1996 to provide detailed hands-on training for maritime and specialized technical services for a range of other industries, including environmental and Tourism. The company has since developed the Penny Ferry Training systems, that provide various on-line CBT (Computer-Based Training) courses covering a variety of diverse subjects. New courses are being added on a regular basis in order to eventually provide a base of learning activities to a multiple of different market segments.
Courses are designed and developed and specifically tailored to address local development of grass-roots industries and communities, as well as to provide entry-level knowledge and skills for a diverse industrial and commercial applications.

All course material has been thoroughly tried and tested for suitability and fitness for purpose for local markets, and on successful completion of a course, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to the Candidate. Some courses are of a more stringent nature than others, and many have been accredited by a relevant local authority or association – such accreditation will be reflected on the certificate.

All Course Material is subject to Copyright and may not be downloaded, copied or redistributed by any means to other parties. The advantage of CBT Training is that each Candidate can work through the material in his or her own time, can go over the material as many times as necessary, is tested for knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and gets credit at the end for successful completion of the Course. There is no limit to how many times you log on or look at the material. Some courses may require downloading or to be posted to you, and the cost per course is specified below. Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and postage of material (where necessary) and the certificate of Completion.
On payment, please e-mail us the date and amount paid and the Course required together with your Full Name and Postal Address to info@pennyferrytraining.com and you will receive back the login details to access and begin the course.
